 In a large bend of the river Drina, between Visegrad and Bajina Basta, 180km from Belgrade is oasis of pine trees and unchanged nature - National Park Tara. This protected area belongs to region of Bajina Basta. Average altitude veries from 1000 to 1200m. Numerous mountain peaks, deep gorges, view points are very interesting for hiking and as beauty spots.
Almost one third of flora in Serbia can be found on the territory of National Park. It has been indicated more than 1000 plant species, as well as 34 wood and 9 weadows associations.
Within the National Park Tara and along the river Drina numerous atttractions bring tourists, nature lovers, hikers, fishermen, hunters, sportists and all people interested in untouched nature.
